Protect Your Privacy in Bulk

Sharing photos online? Don't expose your location, camera details, and personal data. Batch EXIF Remover strips metadata from dozens of images in seconds.

📍

Remove GPS Location Data

Most smartphones embed GPS coordinates into every photo. Before sharing to social media, marketplaces, or forums, strip this data to protect your home, workplace, and daily routine.

📦

Process Dozens at Once

No more one-by-one. Upload your entire album, click Process All, and download everything as a convenient ZIP file. Perfect for bloggers, sellers, and photographers.

🎯

Preserve Original Format & Quality

Unlike other tools that force PNG output, we preserve your original format. JPEGs stay JPEGs with adjustable quality, and PNGs stay lossless. No unnecessary file bloat.

🔒

Your Photos Never Leave Your Device

All processing happens locally in your browser. No server uploads, no cloud storage, no privacy risks. Your images stay yours.

How to Use

1

Add your images

Drop in multiple JPG, PNG, or WebP files — EXIF metadata like GPS location, camera model, and timestamps will be stripped from all of them at once.

2

Run the removal

The tool rewrites each image without its metadata, leaving the visual pixels unchanged, and packs the cleaned files into a ZIP.

3

Download the ZIP

Save the cleaned images and use them anywhere you do not want location or device data to travel with the file.

4

Confirm the metadata is gone

Optionally re-check a file with the metadata viewer to confirm the GPS, camera, and date fields are now empty.

Detailed User Guide

What EXIF removal actually removes

EXIF metadata stores the GPS coordinates, camera make and model, shutter settings, and timestamps of a photo. Stripping it means those details no longer travel with the image you share.

The pixels are left untouched

Removing metadata does not recompress or degrade the image. Only the hidden header data is dropped, so quality is identical to the original.

Batch processing saves real time

Instead of opening each photo in an editor to clear metadata one by one, drop the whole folder here and get every file cleaned in a single pass.

Privacy is the main reason to do this

Posting an unmodified phone photo can leak where you live or work through embedded GPS. Stripping EXIF before uploading is a basic privacy hygiene step.

Processed locally, never uploaded

The rewriting happens in your browser, so the photos — and the location data they briefly contain — never leave your device.

Removal is permanent in the output

The cleaned files have their metadata permanently removed — there is no way to recover the GPS or camera data from the exported copies. Keep originals if you might need that data later.

Which formats carry EXIF

JPG and TIFF commonly store EXIF metadata, while PNG uses different metadata chunks. The tool targets the fields that actually contain location and camera data in each format.
