Question 1

How do I fix white halos after background removal?

Accepted Answer

Use an edge refiner tool like SmartImgKit. Upload your transparent PNG, paint over the white halo edges with the eraser brush, and download the fixed image. All processing happens locally in your browser.

Question 2

Can I fix missing hair details after cutout?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use the add brush to paint back missing hair strands or fine details that the background remover cut away. Adjust brush size for precision work.

Question 3

Is my image uploaded to a server?

Accepted Answer

No. All edge refinement runs locally in your browser using Canvas API. Your images never leave your device, ensuring full privacy.

Question 4

What file formats are supported?

Accepted Answer

PNG with transparency is recommended (the output of background removal tools). JPG files can also be loaded but you'll need to erase the background yourself first.

Question 5

Is this tool really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, completely free. No signup, no watermark, no resolution limits. Process as many images as you need at no cost.
