How to Use

1

Add your PDFs in order

Click or drag to add the files you want to combine. The order they appear in the list is the order the pages will use, so add the cover or title page first. You can drag the file cards to reorder them before merging.

2

Review the page sequence

The preview shows each file's page count and position. Scan the list top to bottom to confirm nothing is out of order โ€” a misplaced appendix or rotated section is much easier to fix now than after merging.

3

Click merge to combine

The tool reads every page locally with pdf-lib and rebuilds a single document. A large report with scanned pages may take a few seconds, but nothing leaves your browser during the process.

4

Download the merged file

Save the combined PDF and open it to verify every section landed in the right place. Keep your original files as a backup until you are satisfied with the result.

Detailed User Guide

Order matters: arrange before you merge

Pages are combined in the order you added the files, top to bottom. Putting a cover page first and an appendix last produces a clean, professional document, while careless ordering leaves readers hunting for sections.

What pdf-lib copies and what it drops

This tool runs entirely in your browser with pdf-lib. It copies every page into a new document, keeping text, images, and vector shapes intact. Interactive features โ€” form fields, JavaScript actions, and digital signature seals โ€” are flattened or removed because they are tied to the original file.

Password-protected files need unlocking first

If any source PDF is encrypted with an owner or user password, pdf-lib cannot read it and the merge will fail. Unlock the file first with the PDF Unlock tool, then bring the clean copy back here.

Large reports can be slow but stay private

A 200-page document with scanned images can take a few seconds to rebuild because every page is processed locally. That trade-off is deliberate: nothing is uploaded, so confidential contracts and financial reports never leave your machine.

Bookmarks and outlines are not preserved

Merging creates a flat page stream. If your sources had a clickable table of contents or bookmarks, those links will be gone in the output. Re-create them afterward in a PDF editor if the merged file needs internal navigation.
